Dr. Judith Hagenbuchner has been head of the 3D bioprinting lab since 2017. At the time, the lab was one of the first of its kind in Austria.
As is so often the case in life, the 3D Bioprinting Lab started with an idea – the idea of reducing the number of laboratory animals.
The technology makes it possible, as cells and tumors can be produced using a special printer. Three-dimensional, reproducible and animal-free is the motto here.
In the podcast interview, Judith Hagenbuchner talks to podcast host Robert Pacher about the 3D bioprinting lab, the developments, longevity and much more.
